Postage Options

A few weeks back I talked about spot calligraphy. To read more about that click here.

Now as we are narrowing in on the invitation designs for all of our fall brides, we’re starting to discuss postage options, so I thought I’d share my thoughts.

Zazzle used to offer great custom postage options with a minimal price increase however they recently just stopped offering that. For custom postage, Minted is your go to but they are a bit pricey!

My very favorite option is going vintage. Find someone who can help you create a custom design based on your invitation suite look, your interests – really your story as a couple! For our wedding in Greece we honed in on a bunch of stamps from NYC and the south to showcase the couple’s background.

Of course, you always have the option to go with what the USPS is offering but be sure to hold off until you know exactly how much your suite will weigh and you know what your envelope color will be! No need to rush through this part of the process.

Remember, the outer envelope is the first thing your guests will see – make it a wow moment!
